Hello!  I am here with an exciting post!  I was chosen as guest designer for the December 1st sketch from Stuck?! Sketches and it is time to reveal my creation!  Here is the sketch:

I love this sketch.  There are so many details and it's just beautiful.  I worked on this layout for almost an entire day.  I wanted it to be perfect, which is always a problem when crafting.  I had an idea that I was really excited about but then couldn't find the right mix of papers to pull it off.  It's hard when the idea you have turns out not to work.  Moving onto the next idea was my struggle.  But finally I persevered and came up with something that I love even better than the original. Here is my layout:

I felt that I should do a Christmas layout because it is December.  So I chose a photo of my kids with Santa when we were in Florida 2 years ago.  I love this photo!  I chose to use the colors and the snowflakes from in the picture as inspiration.  The star was difficult for me because I hand cut it out and then couldn't figure out how to put it back in the hole.  I should have just used another piece of cardstock and layered the tissue paper on it but I used the cut out and put it back.  Anyway, I wanted to keep this simple so I chose not to include a few of the layering details that are on the sketch.  I also chose a larger photo so I did not use the cards on either side of it.  I really wanted a lot of the star to show.  I really love this layout!!
