Online Crop Layouts (9/29/16)

Hello!  I was able to participate in my first online crop thanks to the Victoria Marie Facebook Group on September 23-26.  There were loads of challenges each day.  I was able to complete 5 layouts.  That's a lot for me in the amount of time!  I recorded one of them and will do a separate post for that layout.  I didn't record all of them but wanted to share the other ones I completed.
img_2867This was created using a famous scrapper as inspiration.  I chose Paige Evans.  I love how she creates her own backgrounds, her use of color, and the way she uses what she has available to her to create.  I used 3 of my punches and my scrap box.  I punched 36+ of each shape and then spent a long time mixing them up to create the background.  I went very easy on the embellishments because there was plenty going on on this page.img_2873This layout was created for the mood board challenge.  I have been wanting to try out this layout design for awhile.  So I went for it!  I pulled the colors, triangle, and the letters from the mood board.  The flowers were fussy cut from a Maggie Holmes paper.  The butterflies were a Scraptastic exclusive wood veneer.  I used a random ribbon and some tulle that I found laying around on this as well.  The photo is of my oldest daughter taking a selfie in the car.  I just really thought it was a beautiful picture of her.  img_2893This layout was created for an item scavenger hunt type challenge.  I used a circle punch, doily, sequins, and a journalling card (which were the items to be scavenged for).  The circle punch was used to create the pom-pom (?) type embellishments.  I used a journalling card as a layering piece behind the Kiss Me cut apart.  I also busted out the sewing machine for the first time in years.  Last time I sewed on a layout, I messed up my machine pretty good and haven't wanted to mess with it.  But I gave in to peer pressure and tried it again.  It worked awesome!img_2914This layout I LOVE.  It was created for a scrap lift challenge in which we were to choose a layout and stretch the sketch into a 2 page layout.  I chose to do a layout I found on Scrapbook.com by Gail L. found here.  I used the fringe and a similar color scheme.  The photos I used are of our puppy that we got in February of this year.  They were all taken within days of us getting her.  I felt that it fit the girly style I was going for.  I used more scraps for the fringe which I hand cut.  I used left over pom-poms and handmade bows.  I am in LOVE with this.
I do not have a product list for these layouts.  I used a lot of scraps to create my own embellishments.  I did use a lot of the Crate Paper Hello Love collection.  If you want to know about any of the products please ask in the comments and I will get the information for you.
Thank you for visiting!  See you again soon!
